Do your freeze-dried pet treats require refrigeration?
No way! Our freeze-dried pet treats are shelf-stable and don’t need refrigeration. Store them at room temperature in a cool, dry place - refrigeration can actually introduce moisture when treats are removed from packaging, making them soggy. Not paw-some!
To maintain peak freshness, store freeze-dried treats in an airtight container away from direct sunlight. Keep them cool and dry for maximum paw-fection!
What’s the shelf life on freeze-dried pet treats?
Our freeze-dried treats stay fresh for 12 months (unopened), when stored properly in a cool, dry place.
Once I open the bag, how should I store the remaining treats and when do they expire?
The travel size is designed for single-use convenience, but if your furry friend doesn’t finish it all, just seal those leftovers in a ziplock bag and use them within 7 days for optimal quality.
How do I spot spoilage in freeze-dried pet treats?
Off-putting odor: Fresh freeze-dried treats should smell naturally pleasant. Bad smell? Toss them, fur real.
Texture changes: If treats become excessively soft or sticky, they’ve absorbed moisture and should be discarded.
Do you offer free shipping on pet treats?
Paw-sitively! Free shipping on orders over $99. Orders under $99 have a standard $4.95 shipping fee.
When will my freeze-dried pet treat order ship?
We ship from the closest warehouse to you within 3 business days of order placement. Delivery typically takes 3-5 business days - that’s some speedy paw delivery!

Max & Bella was born from our passion for keeping furry friends happy and healthy - we know every pet is paw-sitively unique! Our return policy has your back for manufacturing defects or shipping damage within 15 days of delivery.

We strive for paw-fect condition delivery! For refunds or replacements:

Photo documentation is required for quality issue refunds. No refunds after 15 days from delivery date.
